Hi Johnny,
Seems like you're getting better from your blog? Hope so. Had some strange throat problems & 2 oeso... things as I couldn't swallow. I wonder how long it'll take them to figure out what's wrong with me?! Sat resting at home giving star ratings to thousands of tracks on itunes (there were a few 5's coming your way)!
My mate & I once bored you to death after a gig at Bradford Rio's when you supported the Exploited about 15 years ago - their fans hated you! I seem to remember you played the hardest set possible to piss them off!
Hopefully we'll see you back for the annual gig at the Corporation at Sheffield?

Thanks for writing in - hope you feel better. Yeah, I remember The Exploited tour and, with the exception of London, their fans hated us and I got spat on. I'd read somewhere that punks spit on you if they like you, but I think they just enjoyed spitting anyway. My health is much better (at about 75%), and I just have a few bits to clear up at the hospital and osteopaths - I'm visiting both next week. There's some skeletons of new tracks slowly appearing on the blog and I'll be booking a couple of DJ slots once I'm running at 90+%!

surely with the misery and pain of your ailing health you could channel it into producing the wost awe-inspiring gabba ever! I really miss new UV material, although everything you have ever done is amazing, so listening to the old stuff always brings a massive grin to my face!

Hows your health johnny? any chance of some more free mp3s on here to download as i would like to download im gonna fuck you a true classic which although seeing you play many many times since i first saw you play with misery loves co in 1995 i dont think i have seen it live uless iwas too mashed uyp and just forgot
hopefully some more classic ultraviolence gigs in the future....you play best at the garage a great venue

Hi James. Health not, great, thanks for asking anyway. The free MP3s are meant as an introduction to UV or because its otherwise unavailible- you can get most of the released stuff from iTunes quite cheaply.

I've been a JV/Ultraviolence fan for ages - used to come by this site quite regular but I haven't been on for over a year. Really sorry to hear that Johnny aint been too well - really hope you get better soon and can't wait to hear any new material should it come out.

Hi.
Thanks for checking back and for your well wishes. I'm keeping the blog updated every week or two whilst there's little other activity, but the updates don't appear on the front page. I've got a few more hospital tests coming up in the next few weeks (I moved to Norwich from Edinburgh a few months ago and the NHS seems effectual here) the most amusing will be a tube down my thoat with a data recorder with "drink", "eat" and "pain" buttons to press. Hopefully it'll do bleeps as well!
